What is KUBERNETES (k8s)?

In this digital era, every project needs to be built in less time with more flexible and resilience manner.

Being a startup in pharmaceuticals, enterprises strive to innovate fast where team rolls out new feature, collects feedback from clients, and introduces changes until they find their product-market fit.

After covid – a global pandemic outbreak, enterprises looking towards new technologies which leads them to get task done rapidly without loosing focus on overall value.

Solving these challenges isn’t easy, here Kubernetes (or k8s) comes into role, the leading platform for managing and orchestrating containerized workloads and services.

Traditionally SDLC use waterfall model for software development which incurs lot of time and cost as well it follows rigid model.

Kubernetes is a portable, extensible, open-source container orchestration system that helps systems administrators automate computer application deployment, scaling and management.

As healthcare innovation has paced rapidly in recent years, it becomes important innovation must come with security, reliability, availability, scalability with artificial intelligence.

Health organization consists crucial medical records and trial research of patients, healthcare software is required to analyze properly having reliable strategies running at backend.

Software built over Kubernetes replaces the traditional approach of SDLC, now shifting for micro-services, a software developing method having many APIs and services build independently each other, make software reliable and resilient to use.

What are containers?

Containers are packages of software that contain all the necessary elements that combine application source code with the required operating system (OS) dependencies and libraries to run in any machine.

Containers make it easy to share CPU, memory, storage, and network resources at the operating systems level and offer a logical packaging mechanism in which applications can be abstracted from the environment in which they actually run.

How Geninvo use kubernetes?

We, at Geninvo, always seek to look forward using latest technological enhancement. Yet Kubernetes is still young platform, a deeper look at the technology reveals how it can help healthcare organizations innovate, providing them with greater security, faster application deployment, lower costs and scalability.

As an organization served to healthcare, we face increase pressure to innovate more quickly and be more customer-focused while simultaneously minimizing downtime and its impact.

Our expert DevOps team build cloud based infrastructure using K8s, easier the automating application testing and deployment which further can reduce time to market and offer more transparency into production pipelines.

Kubernetes allows our organizations to:

  • Deploy applications quickly and predictably
  • Scale applications on the fly
  • Roll out new features seamlessly
  • Limit hardware usage to required resources only.

Our aim is to create a power-house innovation for our clients that is ready for enterprise deployment. Let’s innovate together.
